We are a small family run kennel based on the edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire.
Our first Spanish Water Dog ‘Burta’ entered our lives 3 years ago and from that moment on we fell in love with this wonderful versatile breed.
Chanderhill was established as a hobby for Kate on taking early retirement from work as a veterinary surgeon.
Our four Spanish Water Dogs are very much part of our family and live in the house with myself, my husband Mark, our daughters Beth (11) and Charlotte (6).
As a family we train and compete with our dogs regularly. Our main hobby is showing in the UK & Ireland with occasional trips over to Europe for competitions and we also take part in obedience and ring craft classes weekly. As they are great family trips out we would encourage and support all our puppy owners to take part in these and other canine activities.
