Indi is our much loved, first homebred pup at Chanderhill. She is the daughter of one of our foundation bitches, Ibera, and of Otto’s big brother, Spanish Champion Catuai De Aronagua.

Indi joined our other dogs in the UK show ring in January 2018 and was awarded Best Puppy in Breed and Best Puppy in Show 3 in her very first outing! Whilst still a puppy, Indi then went on to win one Best Bitch and numerous first place awards in adult SWD classes at UK Championship Shows.

Indi has kicked on rapidly from there. At the age of only 16 months she became our first home grown Show Champion when she became a Swiss Champion at the International Dog Show of Geneva in November 2018.

This is not the only first though. In May 2019, Indi became our first home grown SWD to enter the Stud Book in the UK, when she won the Bitch Challenge Certificate at the Bath Canine Society Championship Show. Then in June 2019, Indi became our first dog to win a Group Placing at a UK Championship Show, when she won Best of Breed and then Gundog Group 4 at the Three Counties Championship Dog Show.

We have also competed with Indi in Spain. In November 2018, she was graded Exc 3 from a class of nine in Intermediate Bitch at the International Dog Show of Malaga. Earlier in the year, she was Best Puppy in Show at the UCPDAE Monographica in Granada and was Best Puppy in FCI Group 8 at the International Dog Show of Granada.

However, Indi’s finest hour to date was undoubtedly at the World Dog Show in Amsterdam in August 2018. There Indi won the Junior Bitch class on all three days of competition to become the Junior World Winner 2018, the Benelux Junior Winner 2018 and a Dutch Junior Champion.

We are very excited for Indi’s future in our kennel.
