Ferrylands Hunting High And Low For Chanderhill (Imp Nor) JW

When we decided we wanted to go black, we turned for help to our friends, Johnny and Irene Donne of the Ferrylands Kennel in Bergen, Norway. During a fantastic weekend with Johnny and Irene in March, it was decided that Lola would join our kennel as soon as she was able to travel to the UK.

Lola then became our little Viking invader in early May when Kate travelled to Norway to collect her.

Lola is the daughter of Otto’s brother, Sooner Or Later De Aronagua, and Norwegian Champion Ferrylands Carmen.

Lola joined our other dogs in the UK show ring in July 2019 when she won Puppy Group Placings, including a Group Win, at her first two Open Shows. Lola then also made her first few Championship Show outings in July and August 2019, winning a Puppy Group 4 Placing and Reserve Best Bitch at the Paignton & District Dog Fanciers’ Association Championship Show and a Puppy Group Shortlist at the National Gundog Association Championship Show.

Since then Lola’s career in the domestic show ring has gone from strength to strengthen, four times taking Best Puppy in Show accolades and also winning a number of Puppy Groups. In November 2018, Lola completed her Kennel Club Junior Warrant at just nine months of age, becoming the youngest ever winner of the Junior Warrant award in the breed’s history.

However, Lola’s finest hour to date was undoubtedly at the prestigious Talavera De La Reina Shows in Spain in October 2019. There Lola was Best Puppy in Breed at both the National and International Shows and went on to be awarded the accolade of Best Puppy in Show 3 at the National Show.

We are very excited for Lola’s future in our kennel.
